Małgosia Tomasik is an HR expert with over twenty years of practical experience in organizational culture development.
She has a track record of success in change management, maintaining high levels of employee engagement and job satisfaction, as well as HR development in the workplace.
Her experience includes positioning the company as the employer of choice, managing internal communication as well as union negotiations.
Małgosia’s biggest passion in the field of human resource management has always been attracting talented and competent people and supporting their professional growth within the company. She is experienced in developing leaders, shaping teams and strengthening organizations in Poland and internationally.
Małgosia managed HR teams of such companies as Arthur Andersen and EY. She prepared and executed strategic solutions for recruitment, engagement and talent development. She designed strategies for retaining the top talent in multinational organizations. She worked in teams creating global solutions, which included collaborating with Wharton Business School scientists. She co-created new departments and new consulting specializations.
Małgosia has played an integral role in designing trainings and hosting workshop in the American and Dutch Arthur Andersen centers. When the two companies, Arthur Andersen and Ernst & Young, were merging, she was responsible for all HR negotiations. Following the successful merger, Małgosia was charged with the responsibility of building new company culture and introducing contemporary HR solutions and practices to the combined team of 1,500 people.
As the HR Director of the Orlen Group (one of the largest oil and gas companies of the Central Europe), she gained experience working with labor unions. She successfully ended negotiations that lasted for 8 years which allowed the implementation of the Corporate Collective Labor Agreement.
In the recent years, Małgosia worked on development and application of modern technologies to improve communication within companies. She also cooperated with the SWPS University of Social Sciences and Humanities in Warsaw and Warsaw University. She has run workshops for such companies as Citibank, Toyota, Amgen, EY, Siemens and many others.
Małgosia is passionate about traveling to the far and remote places of the world. She loves opera and enjoys sailing. She frequently volunteers her time for charitable organizations.

Company culture:
In the workplace, Małgosia instills the culture of trust and integrity. It is important for her to create an environment that is appreciated by the employees and respected by the outside world.
Opera/music culture:
Małgosia watches, or rather listens to over 20 operas a year in her home country and travelling from Milan to Sydney.
Discovering diverse culture:
Małgosia uses her passion for travel as fuel to learn the cultures of the places she visits. She maintains long-term friendships with people she connected to on her travels: from South America to Middle East, from Asia to Australia.

Małgosia has worked countless hours as teacher and mentor, inspiring young people to learn English, sail, dance, travel the world, study new cultures, become entrepreneurs or try out new professions unrelated to the field of their academic study.

Małgosia was one of the first people in Poland to become an HR professional. In order to pursue the career she was passionate about, she left her beloved Silesia and came to Warsaw. Although changing careers and work environments would not always result in immediate success, Małgosia kept an open mind when new possibilities would surface and was not afraid of exposing herself to new experiences. This courageous attitude helped her expand her knowledge and grow as a professional.
