(how a New York businessman became a trainer, mentor and coach)
What inspired me to develop the “Energizing Us” concept started out as a weakness. I felt an overwhelming lack of energy that prevented me from materializing my goals and my dreams. Eager to overcome this challenge, I set out to find a solution through research and education – and ended up building tactics for resilience that would help others as well.
When I started achieving my goals one by one, I felt like I was reborn. I felt more alive, more free… I felt stronger, sharper, more inspired and motivated than ever before! I was so energized and excited that I just knew I had to share my experience and knowledge with others.
With time my work and the “Energizing Us” concept expanded within the US and overseas. I had a privilege to work with people from twenty different countries. Combining my personal goals with my career became my calling and passion.
MATT ABOUT WORKING WITH MAŁGOSIA
Małgosia and I have known each other for almost thirty years. We lost contact with each other for a time when we both left our hometown Katowice in Poland – I moved to the New York City and Małgosia relocated to Warsaw. Years later, thanks to Linkedin, we had a chance to reconnect. Sharing the same passion for helping people we naturally became business partners.
The synergy we created became tremendously helpful in the growth and development of our vision. Our gender differences (such as approaches to tasks, styles of work, etc.) have become our strength and asset, as we complement each other in our collaboration. We have combined our diverse international experience, professionalism, knowledge, ideas and energy to bring the balanced and wholesome vision into the “Energizing Us” concept. The first time we performed together at a conference, “Burnout of Polish Professionals”, cemented our collaboration and became the stepping stone of our future success as a team.
